Fair goers at the California Fair in Sacramento can proudly state that they ‘picked a wiener at the California State Fair’ when they attend and bet on the Dachshund Derby. These cute little wiener dogs have been running in an annual race at the fair for seven years. The races are held daily at the Budweiser Grandstand, which is the same place where regular horse races are held throughout the year.
